Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • CCC-SLP or CFY candidates encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and IEP processes
  • Excellent collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a diverse student population
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s goals
  • Provide direct therapy sessions, both individual and group, adapting strategies to maximize student progress
  • Collaborate with classroom educators and other school professionals to enable student access to curriculum
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Engage in parent meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to support student success
