Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Eligibility for Alabama state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • School-based SLP experience preferred, but strong new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Comfortable delivering teletherapy as well as on-site speech-language services
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students, both in-person and via teletherapy platforms
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student progress
  • Document treatment plans, progress notes, and maintain compliance with school and state policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance on communication goals and strategies
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment tailored to each student’s needs
