Opportunities span multiple school sites, with openings for Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver services at the Renaissance Charter School at Tradition (32 hours/week) and Tradition Prep (15 hours/week) in Port St. Lucie, as well as a high school caseload in Miami Dade (6 hours/week). This contract role begins with the new academic year on August 10th.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligibility for licensure
  • Credentials as SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy and IEP process
  • Strong interpersonal communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Experience providing direct, consultative, and indirect services to students is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with school teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and families in carrying out communication goals
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive therapy environment for students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student development
