Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state license as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop creative approaches to address individualized student needs
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and implement therapy to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to foster student progress
• Provide direct services to students in group and individual settings
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP and eligibility meetings
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of progress and compliance with school and state standards
• Offer consultative services to educational professionals regarding the integration of communication strategies in the classroom
