Qualifications & Desired Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure for Illinois
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Prior experience working in school or healthcare environments, particularly with early childhood populations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Must be available for onsite work (remote or teletherapy not offered)
  • SLPAs will not be considered for this position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapeutic services to children in an early childhood setting
  • Evaluate, create, and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student growth and achievement
  • Maintain timely and accurate records as required by the school and state
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations as needed
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field
