Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Bolingbrook, IL

Desired Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
• Experience supporting early childhood or elementary school-aged children is highly valued
• Strong clinical knowledge in articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic/social communication
• Previous work in school-based or pediatric healthcare settings preferred
• Excellent ability to collaborate with educators and families
• Commitment to conducting all responsibilities onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ communication skills using a range of standardized tools
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for early childhood learners
• Deliver direct therapy sessions in individual and group settings
• Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain thorough records of student progress and comply with all documentation requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input on student needs and progress
