Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current licensure and credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY)
  • Experience or interest in early childhood speech-language services
  • Background in school-based or pediatric therapy preferred
  • Strong understanding of SLP practices in healthcare and educational contexts
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • SLPA supervision is not required for this position; SLPAs will not be considered

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose communication disorders in early childhood students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child’s needs
  • Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development opportunities
  • Advocate for students’ needs, supporting their speech, language, and social development in a school setting
  • Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment onsite
