Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting high school students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. From August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027, you will engage with 9th-12th graders in a collaborative and dynamic educational setting near Bolingbrook, IL. This role offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek, allowing you to build impactful relationships and make a lasting difference in students’ academic and personal growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Illinois state licensure (or eligibility to obtain in time for the assignment)
  • Prior experience working in a school or with adolescent students preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills essential
  • Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy to students in grades 9-12
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Document progress and maintain thorough, compliant records of services rendered
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based education planning
  • Offer consultation and training to staff on communication and language strategies
