From August 13, 2026, through June 3, 2027, you will engage with 9th-12th graders in a collaborative and dynamic educational setting near Bolingbrook, IL. This role offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek, allowing you to build impactful relationships and make a lasting difference in students’ academic and personal growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Illinois state licensure (or eligibility to obtain in time for the assignment)
- Prior experience working in a school or with adolescent students preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills essential
- Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy to students in grades 9-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Document progress and maintain thorough, compliant records of services rendered
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based education planning
- Offer consultation and training to staff on communication and language strategies
