Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Licensed (or eligible) as an SLP in North Carolina
- Proven experience working in schools, preferably at the elementary level
- Understanding of IEP processes
- Skilled in collaborating with teachers, administration, and parents
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students
- Complete evaluations and create targeted intervention plans
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school standards
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing timely recommendations
- Collaborate with school teams to adapt materials and strategies
- Communicate regularly with caregivers regarding goals and achievements
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all children
