Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in North Carolina
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, ideally in a school setting
- Comfort managing a caseload of approximately 45 K-5th grade students
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of speech/language disorders and developmentally appropriate practices
- Ability to work on-site throughout the contract duration
- ASHA certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students in grades K-5
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
- Adapt therapy approaches to support the diverse needs of each student
