Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Tennessee
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development and progress tracking
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy methods for diverse student populations

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to middle or high school students on campus
  • Assess and document students’ speech, language, and communication skills
  • Develop individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Offer guidance and resources to staff and caregivers to generalize communication strategies in the classroom
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
