What we’re looking for:
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings, particularly with medically fragile or complex needs preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment and therapy techniques for school-aged children
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to adapt sessions to meet unique challenges
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families and educational professionals
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting two 45-minute speech-language therapy sessions per week in the student’s home
- Creating individualized therapy plans tailored to the student's specific medical and communicative needs
- Assessing progress and documenting results to inform families and educational teams
- Coordinating with caregivers and educators to provide holistic support
- Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and goal-focused environment during each session
