An exciting contract opportunity awaits for Speech Language Pathologists eager to make a difference in the lives of K-12 students. This position will be based fully onsite, with placements available at a single school site in either Golden Gate City or Immokalee for the upcoming academic year. The role begins mid-August 2026 and continues through late May 2027, offering up to 35 hours weekly.
In this role, you'll deliver direct speech services and conduct assessments for a diverse student population. You'll have the chance to focus on meaningful, one-on-one and small group instruction, collaborating with teachers and school teams to tailor interventions for individual student needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure required
- Previous experience in school-based SLP settings preferred
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable providing services to students from kindergarten through high school
- Prior completion of Florida school district fingerprinting, or eligibility for quick clearance via AHCA Clearinghouse
- Skill in performing both therapy and evaluations across varied age groups and abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to assigned K-12 caseload
- Conduct required evaluations and assessments
- Document all services and progress in compliance with district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Adapt therapy techniques to suit individual learning needs
- Maintain compliance with all licensure, credentialing, and district requirements
