Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational environment. Two full-time positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll work onsite, primarily with young learners, delivering both therapy and evaluations to help children reach their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Kansas (KS)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) SLP, or open to Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly preferred
- Ability to organize and manage a caseload of approximately 65 students
- Comfortable planning your own schedule, including time split between two campuses as needed
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation and therapy services to elementary-aged students in accordance with IEP goals
- Develop tailored treatment plans that address individualized student needs in speech, language, and communication
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to advance student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records of services and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and professional development as required
- Form positive, supportive relationships with students and school staff
This role runs from August 11, 2026, through May 26, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Plan your own workdays in coordination with two school sites, fostering flexibility within a structured academic calendar.
