Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP state license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other educational professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and communicate findings to parents, teachers, and administrators
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support plans
- Offer consultation and training to school staff on speech and language development strategies
- Engage and motivate students for maximum progress
