Step into a rewarding opportunity as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) supporting students throughout the school year. This 0.5 FTE contract position offers the chance to make a difference with a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students, allowing you to deliver focused, meaningful intervention and support.

In this dynamic environment, you’ll collaborate with educational staff and supervise an enthusiastic SLPA while providing essential services to enhance students’ communication skills and educational success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Washington
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective teamwork and leadership capabilities, especially in supervision roles

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine students’ needs and guide intervention planning
  • Develop, write, and update individualized education programs (IEPs), ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services, adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs
  • Collaborate meaningfully with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress across academic and social settings
  • Supervise and mentor the assigned SLPA, offering ongoing feedback and guidance
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
