Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist for the full school year. In this contract position, you’ll engage with a diverse caseload of 35 students at the elementary level, providing direct services and collaborating closely with school staff to foster each child’s communication growth.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and active CCC-SLP certification
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings
- Strong communication skills for partnering with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to organize and manage a full-time caseload efficiently
- Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering assessments and direct therapy tailored to student needs
- Developing and updating IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Participating in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
- Supporting students’ individual goals and providing strategies to staff and parents
