Step into a rewarding role supporting students from preschool through 3rd grade in a dynamic educational setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives in the elementary environment and is passionate about helping young learners reach their full communication potential. You'll manage a caseload of approximately 50 students, working collaboratively with educators and families to deliver quality services.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:45am-3:15pm. This assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 5, 2026.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certification as an SLP, with credentials appropriate for school-based practice
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged students, from preschool to 3rd grade, preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance
  • Ability to collaborate easily with multidisciplinary teams
  • Compassionate, patient, and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each child’s unique needs
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions in individual and group settings
  • Record and report student progress
  • Partner with teachers, staff, and parents to optimize outcomes
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
