Step into an engaging full-time role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. This position focuses on making a positive impact within a school environment near Boston, working with a diverse caseload of young learners.

Your workweek will follow a Monday through Friday schedule, averaging 6.5 hours per day, which allows for a stable routine and work-life balance. You’ll collaborate closely with educational professionals and families to deliver exceptional services and help students develop essential communication skills.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license for practice in Massachusetts
  • Clinical Certification of Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
  • Prior experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings
  • Comfortable with teletherapy service delivery
  • Proficient in utilizing AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
  • Ability to work effectively with elementary-age students
  • SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) experience in healthcare is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Utilize AAC devices to foster student engagement and communication
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and school-wide initiatives
