Your workweek will follow a Monday through Friday schedule, averaging 6.5 hours per day, which allows for a stable routine and work-life balance. You’ll collaborate closely with educational professionals and families to deliver exceptional services and help students develop essential communication skills.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license for practice in Massachusetts
- Clinical Certification of Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Prior experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings
- Comfortable with teletherapy service delivery
- Proficient in utilizing AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
- Ability to work effectively with elementary-age students
- SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) experience in healthcare is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Utilize AAC devices to foster student engagement and communication
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and school-wide initiatives
