This full-time position (32.5 hours per week) welcomes passionate, qualified professionals with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to work with K-12 students across diverse backgrounds.

Monolingual applicants are encouraged, though candidates who are bilingual in Spanish/English are highly sought after. Additionally, skills in Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese are especially valued, given the school community’s vibrant cultural diversity.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active SLP-CCC certification.
  • Prior experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English is a priority; ability to provide services in Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese is a strong plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to develop engaging lesson plans tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and interpret results.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide direct therapy services to K-12 students with varying needs.
  • Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed records and participate in school-based meetings as needed.
  • Support culturally responsive practices in assessment and intervention.
