School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Boston, Massachusetts

Elevate your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist with an exciting full-time, in-person contract opportunity in the Greater Boston area. This role focuses on early childhood intervention and evaluation within a dynamic and supportive educational environment.

This position calls for a dedicated and compassionate professional ready to work with a pre-kindergarten population. You’ll play a key role in conducting 5-6 evaluations weekly using the Toni Linder Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessment tool, serving as an observer to provide valuable insights into each student’s unique development. In addition to specialized assessments, you will manage a caseload of approximately 10 pre-kindergarten students across morning and afternoon sessions, providing targeted interventions and supporting their progress throughout the academic year.

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

• Valid state licensure as an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Familiarity with the Toni Linder Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessment is an advantage
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with families and educators
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to supporting young learners

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive play-based evaluations for pre-kindergarten students as an observer using the Toni Linder tool
• Manage and deliver therapy to a caseload of 10 pre-K students in both morning and afternoon classes
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and progress
• Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to foster a supportive learning environment
• Document assessments, therapy sessions, and progress in accordance with school and legal guidelines
