8th Grade 9th Grade School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Boston, Massachusetts

With the retirement of a long-time SLP, there is a substantial need for dedicated professionals to provide in-person speech and language services. Whether your passion lies in working with elementary, middle, or high school students, tailored placements are available depending on age group preference and experience.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active state licensure
• Experience supporting students across K-12, including early elementary through high school (1st–12th grades)
• Ability to manage caseloads of 50-60 students, with flexibility based on placement
• Strong commitment to empowering students’ communication abilities and educational success
• Effective communication and organizational skills for collaboration with educators and families
• Prior school-based experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver in-person speech and language therapy services to a diverse school population
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Monitor and document students’ progress toward IEP goals, adapting as needed
• Take part in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to educational teams
• Support a positive, inclusive learning environment at designated school level (elementary, middle, or high school)
