Opportunities are open at all grade levels—elementary, middle, or high school—giving you the chance to focus on the age group that best matches your strengths and interests. Caseloads are curated to maintain student focus, typically ranging between 50-60, allowing for effective, individualized interventions.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and relevant state licensure
- Ability to provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services for elementary, middle, or high school students
- Collaborative approach to partnering with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
- Experience with K-12 populations, especially at grades 1 through 12, preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and conduct speech-language evaluations
- Develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
- Work collaboratively with school staff to support student progress
- Document student performance and maintain detailed records
- Adapt interventions to meet a diverse range of student needs
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers
