This opportunity is perfect for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) looking for a dynamic contract position. You’ll begin on a part-time basis (.5 FTE) through early November, then transition to a full-time schedule from November 9th through April 26th. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for speech pathology
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Adaptability for both part-time and full-time roles within the contract
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of speech and language disorders among K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain detailed and compliant records and progress reports
- Provide both group and individual therapy sessions according to student needs
- Engage in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued member of the school’s support team
This contract position is onsite, offering a unique chance to foster growth and communication skills in students while gaining valuable school-based experience. The initial commitment is half-time until November, transitioning to full-time through the majority of the academic year. Additional opportunities may arise as the school year progresses.
