As a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll play a vital role in fostering communication skills and supporting academic success for a diverse range of students. This opportunity is ideal for professionals dedicated to pediatrics and school-based speech therapy, including those completing their Clinical Fellowship (CFY) or holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Nevada
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple campuses, serving grades K-12
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families regarding student development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school district policies
- Serve as a resource and advocate for speech-language services within the school community
