Position Details:
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: 12/18/26 (with potential extension into the next semester)
- Weekly commitment: 10-15 hours (initial caseload may evolve as campus needs grow)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license issued by the state of Nevada
- Nevada Educator Certification required
- Accepting candidates with CCC, CFY, and those with healthcare or pediatric SLP backgrounds
- Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings highly valued
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Commitment to best practices in individualized education plan (IEP) development and implementation
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality therapy services to students, focusing on evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with caregivers and educators regarding student progress and therapy strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely reporting in accordance with school and district guidelines
