Position Details:

  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: 12/18/26 (with potential extension into the next semester)
  • Weekly commitment: 10-15 hours (initial caseload may evolve as campus needs grow)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license issued by the state of Nevada
  • Nevada Educator Certification required
  • Accepting candidates with CCC, CFY, and those with healthcare or pediatric SLP backgrounds
  • Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Commitment to best practices in individualized education plan (IEP) development and implementation

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality therapy services to students, focusing on evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate regularly with caregivers and educators regarding student progress and therapy strategies
  • Maintain thorough documentation and timely reporting in accordance with school and district guidelines
