Shape the future for students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving high schools in the Boulder, CO area. This onsite opportunity involves collaborating across Centaurus and Justice High Schools within a supportive environment, making a difference from August 4 to May 21, 2027. With a part-time schedule at 0.6 FTE (24 hours weekly), your specific working days will be coordinated with school leadership to suit both your needs and the school community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) SLP license, or actively in the licensing process (no SLPA applicants, please)
  • Either Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or SLP credentials suited for school settings
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a classroom environment
  • Experience supporting high school-aged students preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Must submit CDE license or COOL documentation with your resume (applications without will not be reviewed)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students in a high school setting
  • Support students with a range of communication needs through evaluation, diagnosis, and the implementation of treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to tailor student supports
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in individualized education plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
