Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active Colorado credentials as a Special Education teacher
- Background in school-based speech-language pathology (SLP)
- Experience working with K-12 caseloads and tailoring services to diverse needs
- Knowledge of or familiarity with IEP processes
- Ability to perform all general special education and SLP duties
- Possess a strong work ethic, growth mindset, and positive attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication interventions for students in self-contained and resource settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Regularly assess student progress and document outcomes
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and related service staff
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a supportive school atmosphere
