Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Active Colorado credentials as a Special Education teacher
  • Background in school-based speech-language pathology (SLP)
  • Experience working with K-12 caseloads and tailoring services to diverse needs
  • Knowledge of or familiarity with IEP processes
  • Ability to perform all general special education and SLP duties
  • Possess a strong work ethic, growth mindset, and positive attitude

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech, language, and communication interventions for students in self-contained and resource settings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Regularly assess student progress and document outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and related service staff
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a supportive school atmosphere
