Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to each student
- Deliver direct therapy and provide consultative services for students with a range of communication challenges
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and IEP teams for coordinated support
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Maryland
- Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Certification, or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners in a school environment
