Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid SLP licensure for school-based practice
  • Previous experience or strong interest in working within PreK or elementary educational settings
  • Ability to work independently with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of assessments, IEP development, and age-appropriate therapy methods

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy sessions to PreK students, both individually and in small groups
  • Administer assessments and interpret results to identify students’ needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective IEP goals and intervention plans
  • Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress, and required paperwork
  • Offer support and guidance to educational teams regarding best practices in communication and language development
  • Manage a caseload efficiently while prioritizing student outcomes within a flexible 10-15 hour weekly schedule
