Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing Speech-Language Pathology in the area
- Previous experience with pediatric populations, especially within school settings
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, evaluations, and progress reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students, on-site for the academic year
- Conduct assessments and contribute to comprehensive, individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to promote student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation on assessments, goals, and progress
- Provide resources, strategies, and support to classroom staff and parents
- Participate actively in team meetings and professional development activities as needed
