Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP)
  • Pennsylvania state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to student care
  • Maintain thorough records and progress notes in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Engage in IEP meetings, annual reviews, and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Offer consultation, guidance, and support to school staff regarding communication disorders and strategies for classroom implementation
