Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing Speech-Language Pathology in the area
  • Previous experience with pediatric populations, especially within school settings
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes, evaluations, and progress reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students, on-site for the academic year
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to comprehensive, individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation on assessments, goals, and progress
  • Provide resources, strategies, and support to classroom staff and parents
  • Participate actively in team meetings and professional development activities as needed
