Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a supportive school environment near Bradenton, FL, for the upcoming academic year! This full-time contract opportunity spans the duration of the school year, with start and end dates from August 10, 2026, through May 27, 2027. You'll work on-site, collaborating with dedicated educators and families to support communication development for students across a range of ages and needs.

As an integral part of the educational team, assignments and caseloads will be tailored based on current staffing and hiring schedules, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Active Florida SLP license (CFY accepted; SLPAs not currently considered)
  • Master’s degree strongly preferred; bachelor’s degrees considered for licensed SLPs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Previous school-based experience desirable, but all motivated candidates passionate about serving students are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Assess, diagnose, and create individualized therapy plans
  • Consult and collaborate with general and special education staff, parents, and related service providers
  • Provide thorough documentation of services and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Adapt to evolving assignments within the district as needs arise
