Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools near Bradenton, FL. This full-time position runs ASAP through the end of May 2027, offering engaging work across two campuses: Buffalo Creek Middle School and Prine Elementary. These school communities boast supportive leadership and friendly, collaborative teams.

You’ll primarily support a diverse caseload, including students in low cognitive and behavior units as well as PreK, ASD, and ESE classrooms. At Buffalo Creek Middle, you’ll focus on direct therapy for approximately 50 students, plus 10 on consult, within an environment energized by a new principal. At Prine Elementary, join a dedicated SLP and talented SLPA to serve around 95 students beginning the year.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
  • Active Florida SLP license
  • CCCs preferred; CFYs considered
  • Prior experience in school settings is highly valued
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop therapy plans for students with varied speech and language needs
  • Deliver both direct therapy and consultative services based on IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt interventions for students within specialized and inclusive settings
