School Speech Language Pathologist - Bradenton, FL

An exciting opportunity awaits a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a contract position supporting K-8 students at two vibrant schools. Based in the Bradenton, FL area, this role offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated colleagues and create meaningful outcomes for students with diverse communication needs. You'll play a key role in both direct therapy and consultative services, with a focus on positive, student-centered impact.

Key Qualifications:

• Active FL Speech-Language Pathology license is required
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
• Confidence managing mixed caseloads, including students with low cognitive and behavioral needs
• Strong communication abilities and collaborative mindset
• Commitment to on-site presence across assigned campuses

Role Overview:

• Serve Buffalo Creek Middle School (4 days/week), supporting approximately 50 students receiving direct therapy, plus 10 students on consult. Caseload includes low cognitive and behavioral units.
• Provide services at Prine Elementary alongside an established SLP and part-time SLPA, supporting preschool and elementary students in a range of educational settings, including intensive, ASD, and integrated PK programs.
• Deliver screenings, evaluations, direct therapy, and consultations as outlined in IEPs
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports for assigned students
• Work closely with fellow therapists, teachers, and administrators to ensure comprehensive support
