Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state SLP licensure and ASHA CCCs (or CFY considered)
- Prior experience working in high school or school-based settings
- Strong foundation in supporting language-based learning needs
- Commitment to fostering inclusion and communication growth in adolescents
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services within the language-based program to high school students
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct student assessments, progress monitoring, and maintain accurate records in alignment with IEP goals
- Offer consultation and support to staff, contributing to a positive, collaborative educational team
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse needs and learning styles
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
