Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience working with children and adolescents in grades K-12, with confidence adapting strategies for elementary, middle, and high school learners
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques relevant to school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students in grades K-12
- Develop tailored intervention plans and deliver evidence-based therapy sessions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and support staff to meet students’ speech-language goals
- Participate in the IEP process, providing valuable input and progress updates for each student on your caseload
- Engage with parents and caregivers to share progress reports and offer support strategies for home
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
