Grades 9 - 12 K-5 School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Braintree, Massachusetts

In this contract role near Braintree, MA, you'll make a meaningful difference by supporting communication development and academic achievement for learners from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Prior experience working with school-aged children across multiple grade levels (K-12) is highly valued
• Strong assessment and progress-monitoring skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in Grades K-12, both individually and in groups
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify communication challenges and strengths
• Develop treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to students' needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to developing goals, and support documentation requirements
• Offer consultation and resources to teachers and families for carryover of strategies
• Track and report on student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Foster an inclusive and supportive environment where students can reach their communication goals
