Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred (CFY considered)
- Experience working with school-age populations and diverse student needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to different learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students’ unique needs
- Provide direct therapy services in both group and one-on-one formats
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on communication goals and strategies
- Offer training and guidance to staff and families to support carryover of skills in various settings
