Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred (CFY considered)
  • Experience working with school-age populations and diverse student needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to different learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students’ unique needs
  • Provide direct therapy services in both group and one-on-one formats
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and adjust interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school and district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on communication goals and strategies
  • Offer training and guidance to staff and families to support carryover of skills in various settings
