Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant and collaborative school-based setting near Brandon, SD. With two full-time SLP positions available and immediate interviews currently being scheduled, this is an excellent chance to help young learners find their voice and succeed socially and academically.

You’ll work with an engaging elementary caseload across one or two nearby locations, providing comprehensive speech and language therapy during regular school hours (37.5 hours per week). Interactive, team-oriented environments allow you to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to create meaningful change.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid SLP license in SD or eligibility to obtain
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience with school-age or elementary caseloads preferred
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit
  • Ability to organize time effectively within a busy school schedule
  • Passion for empowering children through speech and language

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans for elementary students
  • Deliver evidence-based speech/language interventions
  • Conduct assessments and maintain up-to-date documentation
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Monitor student progress and adapt therapy strategies as needed
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
