Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students with communication needs for the upcoming school year. This is a full-time, in-person position beginning August 17th and running through mid-June. Snow days may extend the end date slightly, providing a fulfilling experience that closely follows the academic calendar.

You will work on-site in one or possibly two buildings, conveniently located within three miles of each other. As part of a close-knit educational community, you will serve a caseload of approximately 35 students across grades 6, 7, and 8. Your work day will follow a standard 7.5-hour schedule, mirroring the hours of professional staff and allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (CFY), or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) will be considered
  • Prior experience working in a school environment is welcomed, but not required
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Commitment to supporting students’ individual needs in-person

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy to students in grades 6-8 with diverse speech and language needs
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and professional guidelines
