Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Current state licensure to practice as an SLP or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds considered
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Compassion and patience working with diverse student populations

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with academic goals and IEP requirements
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services, both group and one-on-one
  • Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student progress
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by district and legal standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on students' communication needs
  • Offer support and consultation to teachers regarding classroom strategies for speech and language development
