Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Current state licensure to practice as an SLP or eligibility to obtain
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds considered
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Compassion and patience working with diverse student populations
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with academic goals and IEP requirements
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services, both group and one-on-one
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by district and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on students' communication needs
