Qualifications & Experience:
- Must hold ASHA Certification (SLP-CCC)
- Washington state SLP license (or eligibility)
- Previous experience with school-based speech therapy, especially in early childhood settings, preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to early childhood students
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ language development
- Maintain thorough records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Utilize evidence-based practices for assessment and intervention
