Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Washington SLP license (or the ability to obtain prior to start)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations a plus
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students’ unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s educational journey
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and intervention planning
