Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility in WA)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; SLP-CFYs are encouraged to apply
  • Experience with pediatric populations, especially in school settings, is highly valued
  • Solid knowledge of assessment and intervention for a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans to support student growth and inclusion
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
  • Contribute to IEP meetings, goal setting, paperwork, and progress monitoring
  • Provide direct and consultative services, adapting strategies for both one-on-one and group sessions
  • Offer support and training to educational staff as needed
