School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Bremerton, Washington

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving a diverse school-based caseload near Bremerton, WA. This role opens in late August, with potential training a week prior to the district’s start date, and continues through mid-June (with possible extension for snow make-up days). You’ll work closely with a caseload of approximately 50 students ranging in age from preschool to 22 years, providing services at a to-be-determined site within the district.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
• Conduct evaluations, write comprehensive reports, and develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to foster student growth.
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and district guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning.
• Flexibly adapt to an assigned site, with the opportunity to serve a varied student population.

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Washington SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date).
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; new graduates (CFs) welcome to apply.
• Prior experience in school-based settings highly valued.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload efficiently.
