Make a meaningful difference supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This exciting opportunity begins in late August, with the potential for paid training in the week before classes start. You’ll work with a diverse caseload of up to 50 students, ranging from pre-kindergarten through age 22, delivering direct and consultative services in a school-based setting. The specific school site will be determined prior to your assignment, offering you the chance to bring your expertise to where it’s needed most.

Enjoy a steady, full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to help students achieve their communicative and educational goals. The contract will tentatively run through mid-June, with potential snow day extensions.

What we’re seeking:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure in Washington)
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred, though strong CFs will be considered
  • Previous experience in a school setting is ideal
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload of up to 50 students
  • Familiarity with IEP process, progress monitoring, and service documentation
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide speech-language therapy to students on your caseload
  • Develop and implement individualized plans in alignment with educational goals
  • Document student progress and maintain thorough, confidential records
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise for effective interventions
  • Engage in ongoing communication and collaboration with educators and families
