Speech Language Pathologist in Brewer, ME

Contract Details:

• Start date: July 8
• Onsite assignment
• Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays throughout the ESY program

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Hold or working towards a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY-SLP) candidates are welcome
• Prior experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Aptitude for developing and executing individualized intervention plans
• Active state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Key Duties:

• Perform evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
• Deliver therapy sessions in both individual and small-group formats, onsite
• Maintain thorough documentation and track student progress in accordance with school and regulatory policies
• Work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student success
• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
