Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Current state license (or eligibility for licensure) in Connecticut
• Familiarity with providing therapy in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, time-management, and collaboration skills
• Ability to travel between two nearby elementary school locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students following IEP goals
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation of sessions, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
• Adapt interventions based on students’ evolving needs throughout the school year
