Speech Language Pathologist in Bridgeport, CT

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
• Current SLP-CCC certification required
• Eligibility for Connecticut licensure
• Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students
• Ability to travel between two nearby elementary school campuses

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in both assigned schools
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and staff to support student needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Engage parents and caregivers in the therapy process
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
