Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Connecticut SLP licensure or eligibility required
- Prior school-based experience highly valued
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload across two locations
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and individualized therapy for elementary students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with teachers and special education staff
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and support compliance with special education regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and professional development opportunities
- Consult and collaborate with families to foster carryover of skills and meet student needs
