A K-12 educational institution in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language support throughout the school year on a contract basis. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders typical in school-age children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators and families
  • Proficiency in evaluation tools and therapy techniques appropriate for diverse learner needs
