Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner effectively with educators, staff, and families
- Familiarity with conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and delivering evidence-based therapy
- Ability to foster an inclusive and encouraging environment for students of varying backgrounds and abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students with a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret assessment results to guide intervention planning
- Create and implement individual education program (IEP) goals in line with student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and administrators to support student progress in the classroom
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports to ensure compliance and share outcomes
- Offer strategies and support to families and caregivers for carryover of skills
