Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Possess a valid SLP license in Connecticut, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children, particularly in grades 5-6
  • Ability to provide support and guidance to CFs/mentees
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement IEP-driven therapy and intervention for students on your caseload
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to maximize each student’s progress
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with all local and federal guidelines
  • Support Clinical Fellows through observation, feedback, and meaningful mentorship
