Step into a valued role supporting students’ communication needs with this full-time contract opportunity for a speech-language pathologist, located near Bridgeport, CT. In this position, you’ll serve an educational community during the 2026-2027 academic year, collaborating onsite with fellow professionals and fostering student growth across a diverse caseload.

Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with 30–32.5 hours per week, making a meaningful difference over the course of the school year. The specific caseload and grade levels will be confirmed before your start date, and adaptability is essential to meet the needs of students as they arise.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid state-issued Speech-Language Pathology license and current Educator Certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience in school settings is required
  • Ability to manage and adapt to varying caseloads and grade levels
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services onsite in accordance with student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and stakeholders to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise within multidisciplinary teams
