Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active or eligibility for Connecticut state licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience with school-aged children and IEP processes is highly valued
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for supporting diverse learners and collaborating with education professionals

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services, adapting methods to meet student needs
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation as required by local and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to support student success
  • Educate and provide resources to families and school personnel regarding speech-language challenges
