Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active or eligibility for Connecticut state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience with school-aged children and IEP processes is highly valued
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and collaborating with education professionals
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services, adapting methods to meet student needs
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation as required by local and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to support student success
- Educate and provide resources to families and school personnel regarding speech-language challenges
