Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Bridgeport, CT

Your day-to-day will focus on both direct interventions and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring every child receives individualized support. You’ll contribute significantly to the program’s success and ongoing growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience with early childhood or preschool-aged populations preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to Pre-K students onsite
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and document findings
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings as an active interdisciplinary team member
• Track and report progress for each student, communicating results to families and staff
• Make up compensatory time as needed to ensure compliance and student growth
• Adapt to an expanding caseload as the program continues to enroll new students
