Speech Language Pathologist in Bridgeport, CT

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Active state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Prior experience working with school-aged children, including developing and implementing individualized plans
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized assessments and clinical observation
• Develop and implement individual education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in both individual and group formats
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and integrate strategies in the classroom
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of assessments, progress, and sessions according to district and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on speech-language goals and progress
