Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Clinical experience with school-aged children, including elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Experience with IEP documentation and progress monitoring
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement targeted therapy sessions both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate effective communication strategies in the classroom
- Prepare and maintain accurate student records, including IEPs and progress reports
- Offer family education and recommendations to support carryover of skills at home
- Contribute insights to support problem-solving and foster a positive learning environment
