K-5 Grades 6 - 8 School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Bridgeport, Connecticut

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license or eligibility to practice in Connecticut
• Previous experience working with K–12 populations strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and report writing
• Strong communication skills and a solutions-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students across multiple grade levels
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to create effective, individualized treatment plans
• Conduct screenings and assessments; document progress and maintain thorough records to support IEP development
• Offer direct and consultative services in both individual and group settings
• Participate in parent meetings, IEP conferences, and school-wide professional development as needed
