Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible CFY status, with at least 2 to 3 years post-certification experience strongly preferred
  • Previous experience within a school setting and comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Thorough understanding of a variety of communication disorders and interventions
  • Ability to supervise and support SLP Assistants (SLPA) in treatment planning, progress monitoring, and documentation
  • Skilled in conducting comprehensive special education eligibility evaluations (initial and re-evaluations)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with competency in delivering data and recommendations at IEP meetings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a dynamic caseload of students with shifting needs due to enrollment or identified eligibility
  • Deliver direct therapy services in-person across elementary, middle, or high school settings
  • Provide timely, data-driven input at all required IEP meetings (initials, re-evals, annual reviews)
  • Write, update, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students
  • Offer hands-on supervision and mentorship to SLPAs, ensuring clinical quality and adherence to best practices
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and ongoing communication with school staff and families
